I liked them when I saw them live. They can certainly work a crowd and they were anything but dull.

To be fair, I've not listened to enough of their studio stuff to really pass comment but live I thought they were brilliant.

Everyone I know who has seen them live says they were shit. That video reminds me of shampoo with better bass.

like the new single

saw them about a year ago and they had this "wacky" idea of revolving instruments throughout the set. they therefore had one great drumer, one alright one three mediocre ones and a crap one

apparently they've dropped this idea nowadays...or at least I hope they have

no, they hadn't! but they were all ok. hang one maybe it was the ANnuals who they were supporting that did this, they defintiely had 3 drummers at one point, but all of them were excellent.

The last 'new' band I bought on CD was Low and I've only listened to it twice

i thin to be classed as a "new" band, a band has to be at least a bit "new"!!

they were pretty fine live too, as i remember... if a bit deserted, it was just before the album got released i think. unfortunately that was the night i ended up at the Roky afterwards.

Studio are mostly instrumental. They are my favourite recent 'band' but that's down to how you define one. They are a bit like UK Postrock (Disco Inferno, AR Kane, as opposed to Slint etc.)
