Mind you, if we are still quibbling over the "current" definition of metal, I would argue that bands like Kyuss, Orange Goblin and Monster Magnet etc have a sound far more derivative and similar to Sabbath and the other 70's "Dads of Metal" than a lot of the other bands mentioned here....
