Best Looking American Car?

I like the Ford pick ups F100 and F350. Iconic wagons.

You mean smashing in the literal, knocking down walls, sense?

eta: my nomination is the GT40 and it's modern-day reprisal, the GT.
The original GT40 was designed and built in the UK, by Ford Advanced Vehicle Operations (or some such name) after they decided they had to win Le Mans and had checked that Ferarri wasn't available for sale.

I checked. Apparently the GT40 was designed and built in Slough.

If you want American though, why not go all the way?

Barris Bros. Kustom Shop, Hirohata '51 Mercury.

The 53 Chevy.

As a teenager, this car seemed beautiful to me. Mainly because of the copious quantities of marijuana consumed inside of one.

This is the one... Didn't this car feature in the film 'Two Lane Blacktop' with James Taylor at the wheel. Now that is a grill you could take it off and use it as a chasis for another car.

The '68 Ford Galaxie (notice the lack of headlights!) is a nice one - this is the same car the KLF used as "Ford Timelord" and,

The '66 Impala SS - similar car to above really :) I love the mid-60s Yankie boats.

The Roadrunner from that era is nice, but that's been posted earlier, and the Challenger is a timeless classic.

There are some real shockingly ugly cars posted in here though  :D

1970 Dodge Challenger

So any others? :D

Where i lived a few years back a guy up the road had one of these. We always knew when he started it up coz the whole house would vibrate and my son would be out the front door to gaze at it longingly !

He didn't take it out that much due to the petrol consumption !
