Proper bread keeps for a couple of days if you wrap it well and keep it in the fridge. That's hardly 'every two minutes.' Plus it tastes better, it's no more expensive if you make your own, and it's not stuffed full of fat and chemicals. Win all round, I'd say.
That said, I have got into the habit of buying shit bread again since my breadmaker conked out. I really must replace it sometime soon...
I have recently discovered the joys of proper, fresh home cooking.
I didn't realise I could cook as I was never taught, but at the age of 32, I can now whip up anything from home made lasagne to Sweet & Sour chicken balls (infact I can now cook anything if I have a recipe infront of me), and I have even baked a perfect chocolate fudge cake from scratch - This from someone a year ago who found cooking microwave meals a challenge.
It's just I don't eat that much bread to make it worthwhile making my own I feel. Though I fancy doing it just for the challenge, but it seems a waste to splash out on a breadmaker if I am hardly ever going to eat the bread.
