best live band?

I was working out whether to go to End of the Road in September, and realised it would be the first festival I've ever paid to go to. In 23 years :p

we really should never meet

i'd be likely to do you some harm - in my sleep, like, not, you know, knowingly, or anything

The Oysterband. Excellent every time I've seen them - great songs, beautifully played and sung, great atmosphere - and they're nice blokes as well.

old crow medicine show were a revelation... live performances are so tied up with other stuff that it's impossible to be even slightly objective about the matter though.

i remember seeing extreme when i was 14 and thinking it was the bestest gig eva. :(

I've seen Wolfsbane! Supporting Public Enemy and Anthrax. Good night apart from them. Singer called Blaze, iirc. Twat. Total shite.
The Pennywhores had a song about being a Wolfsbane roadie. Very funny it is too.

The three times I've seen Nick Cave, twice with the Bad Seeds and once without, it's always been a fantastic performance. However, nothing can compare with the pure fevered ecstasy of seeing the Smiths twice in Manchester when I was a young whippersnapper. Magic. :)
