Who is Sam Kriss and what was the feeding frenzy?

As for Twitter - I've been neglecting it these last few months and my mental health has improved no end. I'm not saying I'm definitely deleting my account, but I may do. I don't think my life would suffer, quite the reverse.

he's a loudmouth writer, has written some good stuff. yesterday someone published a detailed account of his sexual misconduct on a date with her, and left twitter briefly set on fire.

It's supposed to make you think and act like it doesn't that at least.

In reality i was looking for a couple of his pieces that were recommended on here that i'd liked. Haven't followed this new stuff at all.

I've found lefty twitter quite disappointing. A lot of account that view themselves socialist veer into liberalism very easily.

Someone already mentioned redrumlisa who I do like. I used to enjoy criminologist Steve Hall but he eventually left twitter due to sniping from middle class liberals, who consider themselves left-wing yet found orthodox marxist analysis the most offensive thing ever apparently.

Won't delete my twitter but I'm on a mass unfollowing mission just now. Anyone still complaining about brexit has been getting the bullet.

it's like he just can't / won't understand that there's many Corbyn supporters that also support Lexit, and respect the reasons a lot of core / trad Labour supporters want to leave EU.

It's only if you're anti gay marriage, anti trans, pro family, pro Spiked ( who he loves to RT), immmigration-sceptic (at best) etc etc like Embery that you can actually connect with w/c Labour voters, cos that's how w/c folk are, always will be, and that's that.

Everyone else is a m/c snowflake.

(f*ck knows what Matt Wrack makes of him)

from today - whatever Labour was / is, it's a lot better than this :

Very harsh and misleading caricature of his posts. I dont think ther anything wrong in questioning how best children are brought up or aspects of the trans issue, or being immigration sceptic nor indeed pro family and there are those debates within the working class. You could of course tweet back your replies to him as you disagree ?
