One of the most instant is House Of Pain's "Jump Around".

that makes me either wana stop dancing or go somewhere else

cypress hill have some good intro's,

but for sure my first thought was the damned with new rose

subhumans also have some great intros before they really give it!
society, religious wars, til the pigs come round, killing. oh wait, most of the subhumans intros are great. they start it off with some guitars, then speed it up, dick shouts something, then u jump in the pit and go for it!

oh and also:
london girls by the vibrators has an ace intro! as does stiff little fingers by them.

would it be fair to say most old school punk has good intros?

Baby Love...had me bopping along the road and clicking me fingers coming back from shopping one time going 'ooo oo oo ooooo'. The bus queue didn't really appreciate it though, humourless bastards

some carl craig tunes are intros....they dont go anywhere special but its good while it lasts.....I'm especialy thinking of Throw here...a real fave of mine from back in the day down zap club on a friday night.....
