It might have kicked your arse, but it put me to sleep. As a film it's one of the poorest Aliens rip-offs I have seen. Just because something works as a game, doesn't mean it translates into a good film and this one was truly lame.

ethan hawke one, its a bit like swat, just lots of funky gun action and the usual plot (well there are only 7 different plots so thats not suprising) but some good ideas, a few little twisits and a good use of night time camera work

SECONDED. Happened to live in the 'Jocks' house at uni so it was always Action movies, beers and Goldeneye(N64). Every fucking weekend for 2 years!

So you basically lived my idea of heaven then.

Also the best action film is The Matrix. Everybody thinks it sucks because of the sequels but it was actually really, really good.

If you watched it as an action film of course. If you watched it for the crap philosophy or whatever it was meant to be then it probably sucked.
