Yes they do, maybe not that easy to find though - or she could go to a pub & buy a single measure & then take it home in jam jar* (though even that might skew her budget a bit at pub prices).

Madeira is only 2€ in my local supermarket, it she wants to come over to collect it I'll buy her the whole bottle, and what's left over can be served as the desert wine at the dinner.

The airfares might not make this a sensible option.
