Best dance sequence in a film?

Not really a dance person myself, so I would have to say , though I am no wiser as to why it is in the film.

mira sorvino and john leguizamo in summer of sam. not much of a film, but the dance scene to 'got to give it up'... oh my. dancefloor filth.

in On The Town is great, showing off her fabulous flying feet (it really gets going at about 3.20, although I like the suggestive song too!)

from Seven Brides For Seven Brothers is great for a bit of masculine one-upmanship.

I love the Turkey Point jitterbug in Cry Baby, although can't find a decent clip of the whole thing.

I know :(

I'm a real sucker for dance movies, and whenever I watch people performing dance routines (or figure skating, or other types of gymnastic activities I wish I could do) my muscles kind of twitch and jerk like another version of me is performing somewhere in an alternate universe. It's really sad.

Some people are naturals and the rest of us have to try very very hard to get there... I go to Samba classes and the only way to ever attempt to be as good as the teachers is to practice in front of the mirror. I still can't shake my hips very fast without looking like I've had an injury...
