Pickled onion Monster Munch

I discovered "turn your tongue blue" pickled onion Monster Munch in Superdrug the other day. They just make a childhood favourite even better. Wish they'd bring the beef flavour ones back and make them mega size like they used to be.

I'm sure they still do the beef flavour. i had them only recently

*makes note to check in Asda this afternoon*

Cheetos - sadly you can't get them over here anymore but they still do them in the US.

Sooooo much better than wotsits.

i don't eat a lot of crisps now, after my liking for them saw my waist-line expand alarmingly, I gave them up a few years ago, and the waist-line got down to manageable, non elasticated trouser levels

on the occasions when i do have them, frazzles tickle my fancy, as do wotsits (but they're not crisps are they) both are fine in sarnies

and doritoey ones hit the spot too

but i don't eat them very often :(

had some apple and cinnamon crisps the other day - they were delicious if not exactly crisp like

although I usually only like potato flavoured crisps I've had some patatas bravas flavoured ones that were jolly nice ...

mogden, they are still available

they are bees' favourite ones too and we were eating them this weekend x

If I'm stoned - Hula Hoops.

If I want a bag of crisps - Bensons

If I want a crisp sandwich - Walkers

If I am skint - Space Raiders.

If I am even more skint - Tangy Toms.

sometimes i have a yen for crisps - i'm not veryu brand loyal, but i like ones that aren't reconstituted (so not pringles), and that break into jagged shards if razor sharp potato-ness. Marmite is a good flavour. And I rather like the non veggie sensations. Especailly the spare rib flavour prawn crackers.

For the umpteenth time....... tangy toms are the bestest best savoury maize or potato based snack (ie. officially awaded *most delicious flavour in the world* honour).... followed by pickled onion space raiders for the best in pinchy faced pickledness

i have to admit taytos are nice, tho a rather odd texture.
i really fancy some ready salted hula hoops right now ... waitrose do MASSIVE bags of their own-brand version ...

Whats with all this Kettle chip munching then?

Don't you realise that all you fucking port-out-starboard-home ferrero-rochet sucking Bourgoise75 nobs will be first against the wall come the space raider invasion!

For "normal" crisp eating = Seabrooks (Waitrose do Ready Salted, S&V and a variety pack, you know!)

M&S do some gurt lovely crisps - Roquefort and Smonky Bacon - they're divine. I also like vegetable crisps, if I'm in the mood to spend more than £1 on a packet of crisps.

Seabrooks ready salted, or Salt 'n' Shake without the salt.

Or Burt's Hot Chilli Lemon if I'm being posh.

My favourite crisps - just to name a few!

(1 = from tasting experience) Seabrooks ready salted, salt and sea vinegar or cheese and onion (c+o) or Burts Mature Cheddar flavour. I've only just discovered them a few weeks ago. Let's just say that i'm hooked. Now who would have thought that Wolvo Uni (Wolverhampton Uni) has gone a bit lah-di-dah and sell Burt's crisps! :D

(2) Walkers Sweet Senations Chilli flavour+Monster Much. Loved the Salt & Shake, salt and vinegar variety when i were a youeth . When Walkers were producing proper crisps!

(3) The Real McCoys - chilli,or c+o

(4) Hula Hoops - except the beef flavour.

I love them!

But Burger Bites and Ham and Cheese Grill from the Spar are my faves, but they are maize I guess, so my vote for crips with real potato goodness
would go to Walkers Smokey Bacon, McCoys Grilled Steak or McCoys Thai Chicken.

But none of them match up to little packets of KVE scratchings!

:D :D
