best cartoon ever

Yes Duckula and Danger Mouse, the best two cartoons from my childhood days! They were both written by the same people.

Did you know the voice of Duckula was David Jason? John Clees was in one episode aswell. Definately a cartoon for discerning kids

And he was Dangermouse too.

Stop It and Tidy Up. Classic. Voiced by Terry Wogan.

The Wonderful World of Richard Scarry (or some such title). I remember fondly the episode where the worm broke his leg.

Road Runner.

Dungeons and Dragons (bloody Uni!)

Animaniacs.

Ren and Stimpy.

Freakazoid.

Monkey Dust is well worth a mention. Certainly the darkest cartoon I've ever seen, and some of the sketches are staggeringly brilliant. Definitely the best British cartoon to date.

ren and stimpy (not for kids, though ... too warped by half.)
the simpsons for all age groups

and I don't know why, but when a child I had a raging crush on top cat...

well the line between kids and adults cartoons is always blurred as most of the best kids cartoons are done when the adults who are making them are actully making it for themselves

I feel nostalgia for stuff like Maya the Bee, G-Force, Heidi, Scooby Doo, and Nils Holgersson. One of my favourites is a beautiful Hungarian series called "the rabbit with chequered ears", or "the bunny in the suitcase", featuring a lovely bunny that could fly. I've managed to find some pictures of it on the net:

Reno -- if you're reading, that is the one I was after ages ago, finally found it

samuria jack

oh there's one more:

love the drawings, the art direction, music, the silence and lack of dialogue.
