Best bottled beers

Virtually anything by Badger brewery is more than drinkable, but my favourite is Golden Glory. Wonderful stuff.
You can replicate the taste by getting any old bottled beer and spraying perfume down the neck. Vile stuff. I don't know why people like it

Young's Double Chocolate Stout

One of the few beers that tastes better out of a bottle than out of a cask. Not that they have it on pump very often, mind you...

worthingtons white shield is (or used to be, not had it in a while & bass don't make it any more) the king of bottled beers... gorgeous stuff.

most bottled bitters available in the uk these days just seem to be pasteurised versions of the cask beer, and are pretty substandard in comparison. the difference between them and bottle conditioned beers is massive - try a bottle of the bottle conditioned export strength guinness and compare it to the normal guinness: it kicks arse (and not just because it's 8%).

oh, and that banana bread beer sucks. you might as well dissolve some kiddies banana sweets in a can of john smiths smooth... :p

Budvar

Got to be icy cold. Though I sometimes go for Leffe Blonde, Duval, Staropramen. All good stuff.

Sadly, never had it. (thinks: where can I get some locally?)

Eh, really????? I've drunk a lot of it my time and I'm sure none of it was bottle conditioned

the stuff we get round here certainly is (or was, again i haven't had any for a few years). I hope it hasn't changed, the flavours were a lot more complex...

My current faves:

Goose Island Honker's Ale
Erdinger
La Chouffe (a perennial fave, pricey but delicious)
Judas :D
Deuchars IPA (good all rounder for when the ridiculously well stocked specialist offie up the road is shut)

Brakspears is top of my list atm, the organic one or the triple for stupid alcohol content:D

Hens Tooth is a good stronger variation on the speckled hen too.

and for a bit of belgian naughtiness it has to be Duvel.

Is it easy to get hold of, or is it one of those limited edition special beers?
It's extremely difficult to get hold of. In fact, I probably couldn't overstate the difficulty of getting hold of it, given that the entire UK stockholding of it is sitting on a shelf not 5 feet away from me... :)

Clue: the reason the first word in the "Brewery's" name is blurred out is because it's my surname ;)
