Best Beatles Covers

Oh, and it's not strictly speaking a Beatles cover as such, but it includes lyrics by Lennon, so I reckon close enough:

 
I think my parents had a cassette tape of Sgt Pepper Knew My Father when I were a kid, can't remember if any of the non-Fall songs on it were good though.
I bought that.
I like it. Quite a bit of shite on it.
The fall is a high point. I liked the triffids version of good morning and three wise men doing St Peppers.
In fact I don't think I know the real album at all, just this one.
Wet wet wet is the low point.
 
A charming cover of one of my favourite Beatles tracks.
The piano on this song is sublime and convinces me I am not musical at all as I couldn't begin to fathom how to play this
 
I like this fairly straight cover of Here, There and Everywhere by the garage band Swamp Rats, from '66 so the same year as the original.

 
Surprised this has come up yet. Best cover ever. ;)

This live is more entertaining to watch but studio is available.
