Ooh, good call. Now that's a classic album.

I think I'm going to settle on "Fuzzy Logic" of the SFA ones. It had a superb applied mixture of weirdness and pure poppiness.

Is your username taken from the liner notes for that album by any chance? :D

Fuzzy logic is pure class, particularly the opening lines to 'mario man':

The blim holes in my shell suit
Joined into an absolute
And fell apart one day

They stitched me up in Everton
Then they took me to a surgeon:
Lost on penalties

There's an excellent compilation from Ankst records which is where Gorky's, SFA, Catatonia and others were first signed. It's mainly Welsh language and a bit trippy. It's called Radio Crymi Playlist Vol 1. I'll try to do a link so here goes.

I find holy bible really uncomfrotbale to listen to aqlthough does have some well good tunes on it. Manics wise its all about generation terrorists for my money.

So i will eithert go gen terrorists or the first sterophonics album. Although feeders polythene is brillient as well.

I don't actually have any of their albums, but surely we should honourarily mention Helen Love, Swansea's answer to The Ramones.

fuckin' hell. what's happened to this place?

manic street preachers. :(

that john cale album shits all over it. mind you, so does the goldie lookin' chain...

I don't think he ever released anything as a solo artist, but H from Steps is Welsh and demands inclusion in this list. :)

I'd say Super Furry Animals along with stavros and tanky - but which one?
hmmmm. Radiator I think...

"Hermann loves Pauline and Pauline loves Hermann
They made love and gave birth to a little German

They call him MC squared because he raps like no other
An asthma sufferer like Ernesto Guevara"

john cale is awesome ... but sadly ( or not) ( he's from my mamgu's village) he is not at all interested in being welsh .. and i am not sure if any of his albums are 'welsh' or produced in wales
