How did we miss that one? Best so far, I reckon. Especially for the awesome ending, which is the most awesome ending of all films with awesome endings.
Terrible film
1981, but not really an "80s adventure", for me. It's really a late version of a 1970s road movie.
I... can't remember. I remember the film pretty well but can't remember if there were any laughs. Ditto Tron. Don't think it had comedy, but I'm not 100% sure.
I always think of it and Flight of the Navigator together because in my memory they came out at the same time.
No, although it was one of my favourite movies as a kid. And, bizarrely, my Dad loved it too.

Just like the 1981 Cannonball Run was the last throes of the 1970s comedy adventure, I think that the 1989 Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was really the start of the 1990s comedy adventure.
I watched Temple of Doom, like, 20 times and never noticed him.
I just found a still of the scene and it looks pretty easy to miss.
