BermondseyFolkFestival (or BFF) is an annual free folk festival in the heart of South East London which was founded four years ago as a result of a conversation between a local musician and a Bermondsey fishmonger at his stall at The Blue Market Bermondsey "Down The Blue". Over a few years it has matured from an idea into a great music festival calendar event which is going from strength to strength.

The BFF performances start at noon with a free walk with local celebrity ARTHUR SMITH followed by a pub gig by Arfur Doo and the Toerags. Then, more free performances from British folk legend Martin Carthy, award winning Lisa Knapp and the indescribable CIRCULUS at the main stage in Market Place.

There will also be traditional Irish Dancing and Thrales Rapper Sword Dancing plus great craft beers from local brewers Partizan Brewing and plenty of places to get a bite.

There will be more performances at Shortwave Cafe to give the Bermondsey Folk Festival the right finale for the day with ady johnson, David Haycock and Russman

In short, don’t miss the fun of this unique folk festival, only a stone’s throw from Bermondsey Underground Station and totally FREE!
