Anyone catch this ? Quite unsatisfying, incoherent tv where atmospherics, editing & metaphor got in the way of some great stories. It had some fantastic footage of East Berlin though.

Thought the same meself,it was all over the place,that guys beard was though,interesting about the protests in Leipzig before the wall came down,did'nt know nothing about that.

i've grown out of taking the piss out of people's usernames. i'd have expected you to have done the same by now.

as for having a "sad" life, you don't know that much about mine to be able to make an informed judgment.

I can see where you're coming from. A lot of the stuff was very highly stylised what with the circus metaphor and so on but all in all I thought most of it worked well.

It's good to occasionally get a more ambitious documentary which isn't afraid of using all the tricks to tell a story.
