benefit cosmetics

bad thing mascara - too clumpy and brush crap

love dr feelgood and quite like benetint but will be getting the body shop one when it runs out (as I wear make up so infrequently it could be a while before it runs out :D)

I do have some eye shadow stuff from them too which is gorgeous

I bought an item of Benefit make-up for someone who had specially asked for it for their 16th birthday. She asked for some sort of bronzing powder. Not much change from £25

That's what I'm saying, for that money you can get professional make up - MAC bronzer is only ("only") about £15.
If you like the packaging, get Soap & Glory. If you like high end make up, get something that's actually high end quality.

Sorry. Will stop disrupting now.

I have a weakness for mac as well - though haven't got that much, I have to try and be disciplined :D

does someone want to start a mac thread? I definitely want to hear about their stuff.

Only use a couple of their products regularly...
Hoola - really like it and has lasted for ages.
Bad gal - I'm a fan. But might look for a cheaper alternative when mine runs out *heads to mascara thread*

Have used Some Kinda Gorgeous and the You Rebel, but they just looked too orange on me, didn't get on with benetint, and not really sure of the point of Dr. Feelgoood :D

I've got some Hoola and I never use it because it's too dark for me. Do you want it?

I don't mean to piss on your chips but I'm with spanglechick and izz. It just seems a bit crap. The quality is comparable with cheap, own brand, pharmacy cosmetics and it just all seems a bit style over substance.

Agree with Pip.

I've never got beyond the testers, which haven't impressed, & I find the names and packaging annoyingly twee too. :D

the only thing i've ever had of theirs is that bathina stuff, which just left me totally  Nice smell but such hard work to apply - i prefer body creams that you can just slap on and that actually moisturise.
