I'm not sure.

Whatever his failings were you certainly couldnt criticize Sven for his record in qualifying for tournements often with ease. Capello seems to have that about him as well.

I fancy England to get a result in Belarus, I think the Ukraine matches will be the telling ones.

I think the players might be a little stung at the criticism they've received after a 5-1 win, so I'm looking forward to a big performance.

And as a follow up to my almost crazy belief that England might play well, I think we should be starting with Beckham and bringing Walcott / SWP on in the 2nd half when the opposition's legs start to go.

I understand this may be a minority view....

i suppose that's debatable, but i'm sure the standards not far below many other domestic leagues which have international players playing in them - romania, switzerland, sweden etc.

plus international football does tend to be less frantic in general.
