did i see them at glasto last year?

letters to america and all that?

once in a lifetime was enough.

(or is that not them)

Yes you did

Yes that was them

No that was Talking Heads! :p

The line-up looks pretty good to me... 3 Daft Monkeys, Killing Joke, Selector, Nick Mannaseh, Subgiant, Steel Pulse  And lots of acts I've not heard of (new discoveries ahoy!) I like the sound of Lunasa already :D

Does anyone know what to expect from the Pussy Parlure and Bimble Inn?

Feed me enough beer and i might be persuaded to sing along to those, if halfheartedly ...

But I find the Proclaimers a little on the boring side as I said ... :(

You can't sing half heartedly to the proclaimers - that's where you're going wrong. It has to be done with table thumping and a heavy scots accent :)

Rocketman is well excited. I've had Killing Joke for the last hour since i got home :D

...oh, and not forgetting the only Proclaimers song we own (guess which one, gwaannn) played about three times and sung along to in a bad scottish accent :D :D

Buzzcocks next methinks if i know him :D

And cos it's resurrected some of me old time tastes, am planning Coitus, Citizen Fish, Pain, MTA, Lydon, PIL, Pistols, Ruts, Drury, Xray Spex, Slits, Siouxie and a little dose of Biafra/DK, Rollins and I reckon I'll finish with me Crass collection. (and then play all the other ones I forgot, including Harper's band!). IT's (almost) FESTIVAL SEASON!!!!

<gives up in advance and heads for most distant beer tent :p >

Are you coming to this festie, madzone?

ill be hopping along as its not too far away. Was hoping Gogol Bordello would play but Dylan Moran makes up for it i think!

As I think recall from a Cambridge Folk Fest a few years back, Lunasa are a great (and really fast) Russian (?) gypsy-folk-klezmer type band, should get everyone dancing ... :)

They're Irish not Russian:p
Should've guessed by the name really (Lunasa is a Celtic fire festival):)

I was having a listen to them last night on Napster. Formed by an ex-Waterboy (William) :D

I reckon Neck will be worth a listen too in a jumpabout Poguesy kinda way. & I'm looking forward to seeing Seth Lakeman as well. Got a good review in Songlines recently.
