I am not bothered about the line-up, I've not even looked.

I might be up for your spare ticket though. PM sent.

I really like the line-up this year. Loads to look forward to :)

But like you i'm not that bothered and would have gone anyway.

PM sent back :)

Ah, turns out this is the wrong festival! Might still be up for it if I can get the time off though!

No worries. I still need to get rid of the ticket in the meantime, but if it's still going and you change your mind it's yours :)

So i've still got 1 adult weekend ticket going for face value + booking fee if anyone needs one.

I suppose most of you know by now that the Friday headliner is KT Tunstall. Can't quite believe the amount of peeps on the B Days boards who are slagging off the festie for booking her and KT herself for being crap and too commercial.

Yes, she's not everyones cup of tea, but she's quite good live and to slag her off just because she's had a bit of chart success is a bit daft really.

I think the problem is that because she couldn't be announced till yesterday people were getting their hopes up that the headliner would be huge. The guess threads have had some way out suggestions like the Foo Fighters, so anything less would be a bit of a disappointment...

Quite pathetic really isn't it. Simiar reaction when Gogol Bordello were announced as the Saturday headliners. I seriously believe there are people on those message boards who would only be happy if the fucking Levellers headlined all 3 nights!

I can't believe people were daft enough to think the Foo Fighters would have been booked :D Surely these people would be happier at Reading or V...

But as we've both pointed out on the boards there should be a lot of fms eating their words if Gogol are as great as they usually are ;) :D

having been to both, i have to disagree VEHEMENTLY.

Endorse was probably my favourite UK festival of last year, Beautiful Days easily the worst

How many times you been to BD though? Festival fatigue?

Just going on what some friends have said to me, so i am obviously open to suggestion.

one thing that did strike me about Endorset it only *looks* on the website like its a main stage, music wise?

is that the case

i say this as a person who has a long history of stumbling between various tents and stages at festivals missing what i want to see :D

Went to the last 3 BD (not sure it was going before then) was really disapointed with the line up, Gomez on the Friday was the highlight, spent a lot of time being told how cool Endorest was (didn't go). Doing Endorset this year though BD line up looks better than last, being bit of a dub fan Lee Perry clinched it, that and not getting any liquid acid last year at BD:( . For me it was a one or other choice but I'd take either over contemptary Glastonbury (don't want to sully good memories).

ETA not that either are in Glastonbury's league but I have some v cool Glastonbury memories, but times move on as do I.

i've been to both once. For me, Endorse It was immeasurably better

no, there's an outdoor stage, two band tents and the tent we're running after hours every night.

To be fair @BD last year earliest I got to bed was 5 but you had to know where to look.

Are u doing a PRoD? what formats are acceptable?

I received my ticket last week, but because the search function here is fucked, I couldn't find the thread -- ta for bumping. :)

I don't know much about KT Tunstall, but I'm certainly going to give her a fair hearing. I agree with lisa and Tort, peoples' negativity about her is a tad sad ...

But then there's the dance tent up the hill

<daren't mention who's in it ;) >

I like BOTH Endorse It AND Beautiful Days. So there :p

not doing BD, just couldn't be arsed with it in the end, almost nobody i want to see

Booked our tickets now, oh yes! :)

Given that Endoirse It remains in jeopardy for us :( going to Escot assumes that much greater importance ... :)

BD tickets go on sale to non fanclub members on Monday 10th March ....
