Er, sorry to interrupt lads but.....I'm quite amused by this notion (from the Rovers fan) that if you win a game via a penalty shootout you haven't actually won, you've only drawn....how the fuck does that work then? So like, Italy didn't win the world cup final after all?? Seriously, never heard that one before!

Sounds a bit fucking desparate to run down your rivals if you ask me.

Anyway whatever, the JPT is still Mickey Mouse - we've been in the final four times and won it twice and I don't care if we win it a third time (or not), it will always be an annoying distraction from the serious business. Possible games against the sags and a Cardiff final would be a laugh of course, but...nah, I'd rather we'd gone out in the first round TBH.

Yes that interpretation does sound silly. However that's not what I meant. I was just seeing if my opinion of him is wrong, as he states that his comments were in jest. Too me they were an attempt at point scoring which I (personally) dont get on with. Should just ignore it really. But I like a good ruck now and again..:D

Anyhow, I'm declaring a unilateral truce. As the time of good will to all men approaches I thought that I'd take the initiative and and lay down the olive branch. I'll not reply nor gaud noname, and take his view as reality. Maybe I do suffer from a humor by-pass on occasion.

And I'm sure you're all a bit board by now.

Full-time shithead, no-time urbanite, therefore I don't expect my opinions to count. But you and I both know you'd never win that argument anyway, so I'll say no more.

Well actually I will. IF we meet rovers in the JPT, I for one will be less than confident, which is one reason why I'd far rather be concentrating on promotion than some fucking meaningless cup competition which could jeopardise our promotion push.

It will mean a lot more to you than it will to us. And that's a bit of a worry to be honest!

BTW I know Sean Rigg personally and he's loving the attention (though not the steel plates in his head). Hopefully he'll be back in contention soon cos he's a real good prospect and a top lad and I wish City's academy had signed him up.

Just saw Phil Jevons' goal against Forest on telly. It was fucking sublime: a bicycle kick from the edge of the 18 yard box at a blistering pace.

If it had been scored by a premiership player it would have been goal of the season and all over sky sports and the rest of the media for the next week or two.

Also Steve Phillips was featured making a couple of extraordinary saves for Bristol Rovers. Again, the sort of thing the *Sky Sports Generation* are force-fed on telly - except on this occasion it didn't come from a ManUre/Chelski/Arse player...so no one will see it or give a fuck.
 
It was a fucking amazing goal. I saw it on 'football league review' on Sky Sports though! :D

I can't believe he even attempted it to be honest. The sort of thing opposition fans usually laugh at you for trying when you land fat on your arse...
 
Phillips has been making saves like that all season, best keeper in this division, no question at all.

It's so nice to have a keeper we have complete confidence in, every time the ball comes over it's his ball, no worries. That confidence spreads to the defence and results in the ridiculous number of clean sheets we're getting.

Anyway, I want Brighton at home then Shrewsbury in the area final cheers :D Promotion is our priority too.
