Beatherder festival

Best festie I've been to I reckon :D Altho understanding the local dialect after a full night of partying proved somewhat challenging. eeeh up!

I agree the last one was top notch, excellent mixture of music packed into smallish area, really good vibe and stuff, imagine what it'd be like if it was roasting sunny! :)

Tickets bought! :D

Having no idea at all what time the festival starts and finishes, we've bought train tickets that get us to leeds for 11am on Friday, and take us away at 6:30pm on the Monday.

Plenty to do in Leeds, if it all goes wrong. :D

Slight cock-up here, I've just been invited to a job interview in Leeds at 12 noon that day

It just means that you will have to wait in a pub until I'm through, shouldn't take more than an hour. I hope you won't mind having to hang around throwing beer down your necks :D:D

I've been meaning to show Stig Mr Foley's Ale House. I'm going to be through Leeds tomorrow (giving a talk at PCI, dahling), so I'll check it's still up to the standard I expect :D

hehe, I knew you wouldn't have a problem being in Leeds so long as there was a pub involved :D

Where's Mr Foley's Ale House? Don't say there's a decent boozer in Leeds I've been missing out on... :(

I could murder them cheesy chips now, was just considerin toddling round the shop for a slab of cheddar!

Not long now! I've got a broken foot and ankle but I've managed to get a purple cast from the hospital and I'm going to 'festival' it up

I'm getting excited now :D

I hope its waterproof! Think I'll be sporting a 1 peice boiler suit should it rain this year :D

Have a great one folks, this looks really good.

We're in mid Wales for Workhouse this w/e, but would like to check this out sometime in the future ;)

MsShirl, are our mutual Hebden friends going? I had a feeling they were ...

Woah, sounds very high tech! Just did my daily weather check on the beeb website. Decided I'm going to use a different site from now on

Can anyone offer a straggler a lift? I'm teetering on going but the car's full I'm told...

I'm in london btw. Would obv. chip in for costs.

Anyone know what situation is for buying tickets on the gate?

*frets*

Last I heard was yesterday, they said tickets are ok on the gates but get there friday 12 noon to be guaranteed. Cross-board posting:

Now then everyone. I'm sat in a cabin in the middle of a field, on-line on a dongle thingy. It is so slow, so I can't possibly get through all the threads that have formed over the last few days. Anyhow...things are looking good over here, nice and dry so lets pray for a few more good days between now and Monday. TICKETS are still available. There will be tickets available on the gate, priced at £65 for the weekend. If you want them, get here at 12 (lunchtime), but not before, to be guaranteed. Cash only on the gate and please do your best to have the correct change so things can go sweeter. See you all in a day or so, MrBxxx:D :D :D :D :
