Beatherder festie-near Preston

my family home is about 5 - 10 miles from the site. I've got a wedding thing to go to on saturday night, but i might for an elaborate plan to run between the two... like what used to happen in 1970's sitcoms.

looks ace though.

I have an elaborate plan to steal your house if it keeps raining. Damn, was meant to think that, not say it. Your wedding thing will all go hilariously wrong and you will be on acid making a funny talk at wedding and stuff and possibly have a cute dog sidekick:cool:

She WILL LEARN

Ok, she won't :(

Heh :D I know.

It's a bit  when she starts moaning about her ankles and feet hurting...

Just fill her full of cider and she'll be too busy being sick in carrier bags to notice her sore feet ;)

and it'll be MY fault..... :D

You knows it :D

Cyber: "why didn't you tell me it was going to be all rainy and loads of hills and long grass and mud and things. I would NEVER have worn these boots"

The Tangerine one: "Sorry Cyber...shall i get you a pint of cider and a carrier bag"

;) :D

Yeah but I look damn hot:cool:

What - hot in a babe in foetal position clutching a damp book, head in a plastic bag, surrounded by damp floating Pringles with blood flowing out of your impractical suicide-tottering-boots hot sort of way? Crying?

Yeah, that works.

(((Tango D)))

Have you not seen Vogue this month?

That was wicked - didnt run into any urbs (that i know of) tho..

Have to say that was the best time i've had at a festival since my first glastonbury... will definitely be going again next year. the mud was tolerable, didnt turn too liquidy as it looked at glasto this year...

zion train were the highlight music wise - frontman seems to have nicked a few moves from the guy out of gang of four.

nice to be back in london tho, where i dont have to ask the locals to repeat everything they say ;)

we got out at 12pm yesterday, the thunder and lightning were just kicking off as we legged it out the main gate. we felt for those just waking up to the prospect of packing up their tent in the rain and then pushing their car thru the mud out of the carpark. with a hangover/comedown. ouch.

Twas best festie ever despite biblical weather conditions and platforms boots which broke the minute I entered campsite:D
So so friendly, never talked to as many random people before, real community vibe with people sharing everything/helping people/cars etc stuck in mud.
Lots of weird and wonderful stuff going on-The Lancashire Hotpots were superb.
Will post up review and pics after more sleep and mud shaking. My tu-tu is ruined:(
Looked for urbs at Camel tail but didn't see any.
