Really not too keen on moustaches though. They rarely look good.

Except... http://www.clickhere.gr/pictures/images/pics/moustache.jpg :D

What are you saying about Tom Selleck?

ETA - WTF is doing on the phone in the sea?

People often think beard = too lazy to shave = too lazy to groom properly = unhygenic.

For their information I'd like to point out that shaving is the lazy bastard option. Trimming a beard and shaving the areas around your beard takes a hell of a lot longer than a quick and easy shave.

There is a lot of skill to having a well groomed beard.

I refer you to http://beards.org/ for how how much grooming can go into it.

There is also the lazy cant be arsed to shave beard. Which is usually the one I have.

By the same token - would an all-over bodywax be the lazy bastard option too? :)

The Twits, Roald Dahl, a Quentin Blake illustration - yes?

Lord.

I haven't seen that book for a good fifteen years. Sudden memory rush :D

I think that's the second time I've used a Twits illustration in as many weeks :) Must be etched in my brain.

Nah that the going to the other extreme, so obssessed about cleanliness that you'd buy a decontamination chamber if you could afford one.

You're making it up as you'se goes along :D

Mine seems to be reappearing.

I had a scary, unkempt one for years, then I learned to trim it. A couple of years ago I thought I'd try shaving, but I thought I looked like a plucked chicken so the moustache reappeared .. but that was difficult to maintain against a shaved face, so the beard has crept back .. my recent camping holidays have clinched it somewhat ....

I love beards

I like all types of beards. I have a particular love for Jesus beards.

Alas, Mr VP refuses to grow one. But I have won the battle on shaving. I bought him some clippers and now he keeps his man stubble at an almost acceptable level.

Although he did have a shave last week. It makes him look silly :(

Practically every single man I have ever known who has had a beard and then shaved it off looked a gazillion times better with the beard than without.

Foolish men and their foolish razors :(

Not so sure about big, full on beards but prefer stubble to smooth......

and i kinda like a goatee !

:)

a goatee at a push. a very, very big push.

i am very anti-beard at the best of times, on both men and women :)
