Bearded Theory 2010

Were you in London last Saturday Flipp? :hmm:

We were on one of our rare visits to town, wish we'd known :(
Nooooo, gutted mate, we were there for Hallucinogen/Eat Static Friday, drinking all Saturday and the squat party Sat night...spent all Saturday laid out on the very comfy sofas upstairs in the Lock tavern, new the Roundhouse, Camden..
Had no idea you guys had left the valleys:D

Man, we were free and drinking after 5:00 pm Sat!!! A mere mile and a half away at the Wenlock (N1) for some of that time, and our gig later on was shite .... :(

Oh well we'll make up for it in mid May! :D

Unbeknown to me, rich! only just got round to getting out tickets today, and the campervan tickets have sold out  :(

If anyone knows of any being sold on or got rid of, please give us a shout!

Stig, go to the shop now and try and buy one...;)

Bought my ticket a few weeks ago. £77 for a £65 ticket is taking the piss a bit, no? Why is it buying stuff on t'internet is always cheaper except for gig/festival tickets? :(

um, and then cancelled it and ordered it again with the correct address, rather than my old work address. :o

rushed chaotic ordering of things that don't exist - a fine morning's shopping, if i say so myself.

Just checked this. Quay tickets are a registered charity and are also covering bankrupcy insurance to the purchaser..

Tickets are cheaper if you click the 'Bearded Theory Direct' link on the tickets page.:)

Now you don't get customer service like that anywhere else!!

I've belatedly realised/been reminded that Saturday 15th May is FA Cup Final Day -- might there be any chance of (large) screenage of this in the beer tent or somewhere? Will run from 3 pm, BBC.

All football and all guardian newspapers will be banned from site for the duration of the festival!!

..just kiddin, I'll go find out for ya..:D

Please not the beer tent. It'll be like we just went down our local, we'll be expecting the wrestling on after. :D Make them watch it in a muddy pond somewhere a bit out of the way. ;)

:D

I think we 'may' set a radio up in one of the little areas like the open mic tent or summit, if theres enough need.
No TV reception on site and no desire to lug TV onsite for one 90 minute period of some blokes chasing a ball around means it will be audio only..

Re FA Cup request

If there really is no TV reception available then no bother :) -- thanks for checking though.

I'm not THAT obsessed with the need to see the FA Cup final, just wondered whether there might have been an opportunity, if it had been easy to organise.

(Also, remember that LevellerRich! and others would probably have wanted a chance also ;) )

But there'll be plenty else to do so

Is it really no TV reception at Bradley nook? I was up there for Riff Raff in 2008 and it seemed pretty high up.

Failing that, Camping Sat systems are sub £100 now, FWIW

Nearly here people!! Tickets going very well indeed and we will sell out before the festie which is lovely..
Fingers crossed doe a less crazy buckaroo weather experience..:D

We've just received ours this morning (with an email sent yesterday to warn us of this) !! :D  :)

That was Quay Tickets too, but we ordered pretty early so ours must have been put into the first batch to be sent.

Yay!!! :p

PS Most likely will be recorded delivery, I had to sign ...

Got my tix! Had to go and pick em up from the sorting office as the postie must have knocked on me door this morning with all the weight of a very ill tiny kitten

still - woohoo - first festie coming right up!!! cannot fucking WAIT

Excited, anyone?

I am currently trying to get over a filthy cold by various means including hoodoo, voodoo, chooka, chooky, and choochoo. If this doesn't work, I aim to stuff myself full of various substances and booze, and wear permanent long johns :)

See y'all there - it'd best be fucking warmer than it is today!!
