apparently it says on the website that it is. but my mate phoned up and they've increased the capacity and say that it will be no problem getting a tickt on the door

My mate was the one who went as Fidel Castro and we screamed our heads off in support, but to no avail.

My digital camera decided to conk out that very day

there was a lot of them back at our hotel bar in the evening - they were a right lovely bunch. quite a messy evening that. i'm feeling inspired to grow a huge 'tache and enter the next one in two years - but it's in alaska!

we saw billy childish doing his bit of judging but didn't notice nick cave, who we've seen in other photos of the event (we weren't in there for ages to be honest)

Nick Cave was on at the same time as Billy Childish, but sitting on the table opposite. The judging of the individual categories did drag a bit.

ah right, well we were stood on the right hand side of the stage , so we would have been behind nick cave - which is probably why we didn't notice him
