i was quite shocked when i move here how much baked beans people ate. for breakfast!!! i like it now.

I did it in reverse, left England for the colonies. But, I kept my heritage alive - beans on toast is a staple for my children. We mix them with maple syrup.

Strange thing though, over here a lot of people make their baked beans from scratch. I've done it a couple of times, but I still prefer them from a tin.
