Be Early For Nick Cave...

...He also gave the loudest rendition of "Red Right Hand" I would have considered possible.

yes - or leg it and leg it and leg it and they keep on following you. It's like the hunter and his prey, but the prey has the advantage. This is complex - Hollis knows about it. It's not *Nature*, if it was Nature then the prey is really fucking scared and hasn't got the advantage - see?

i saw him not long ago though. so that means i've seen the lemonheads and nick fairly recently. you haven't though.

well, having seen Nick Cave more than 20 times, and Evan Dando nearly that (and having a Christmas card from him), i reckon i'll cope. :)

*comes back again*

but anyhoo dub, you're

a) ex music journalist

b) old

the real prize is for second place :p

*hides*

I would jion all the people saying fuck off but since I saw John Cale last week and no-one else did I think I got the better side of the deal :D

That was brilliant! :)

He's a funny man is Mr Cave - fielded gags about the 'tache quite well and refused to play Ace of Spades :( ;)

There was only one goth twatting about like a berk but she made up for the ones that couldn't make it by really feeling the music.

I now own a Nick Cave tea towel. I'm not sure if that's really really good or really really bad.

Might start a poll......

that was one of the best Cave gigs i've ever seen. Vicious in places, and fucking loud. And Cave was dead funny.

and my mate Will Self was loving every minute of it - moving the chin he hasn't got in time to the beat ;)

Big up Richard Hawley too.

When I went to see Sir Nicholas of Cave at Brixton Academy a while ago, I got very, very drunk and told many die hard Nick Cave fans to lighten.

I got sent to the bar to be quiet and behave myself. Told to behave! By Paul! For shame!

In other Nick Cave related news, we saw him in Brighton, and spoke to him, and he totally inspired the postion of my 2nd most favourite tattoo.

Story please.

Fill in the gaps for us in the sticks!

So he's got a tache then , a thin Kid Congo type ?

What's his hair like now? has he had to adopt the Grant Mitchell yet?

Important questions like that.

He's got a droopy mustache and his hair is sort of just above the shoulder.

He is indeed pushing the kitkat look but I don't believe he requires a Mitchell just yet.

Dub's friend liked his shiney shoes.

he's got proper hillbilly moustaches, and a side parting. it's kinda ugly but it works because he's Nick.

he even played guitar, which i've never seen before.

And Warren Ellis is a DEMON :D
