BBC1 Mornings: Beat the F_ing Bailiff

I have already explained to you directly that I was not sneering at people in debt. Why is it that you are choosing to misunderstand me? If other people on the thread have the common sense to see what I am saying-why cant you? Or cant you be arsed to think either?

I accept the explanation but it does not change your OP.
You were sneering, I haven't chosen to misunderstand you.
You described them as 'this gormless thick shit and his equally halfwitted wife'.

Yes it was ridiculous to get into that level of debt I just didn't like you superior attitude in the OP that's all.

*Deep breath*
Did you see the show? Did you see the guy laughing about his debt? Did you see his reaction to being told what he was risking?

The man *was thick* - He failed to grasp that his constant high value spending, rampant consumerism and consumption was stupid. Two consolidation loans- to buy TVs and laptops he wasnt using. Working 70 hours a week to meet repayments.

He ABSOLUTELY was gormless- laughing his head off as his greed and stupidity was revealed. He laughed as unused purchase after unused purchase was brought out from cupboards. And as he was made to open piles of unopened mail from the bank.

He was a shit- risking his family's security to buy things he didnt need and wasnt using.

I say again- this man was not in need. This man was not poor. This man was buying £80 trampolines he could not afford, as a treat for his 8 year girl for behaving herself during the week while being another missed payment away from having the bailiff coming round for real.

Did you see the arrogant c*nt of a bailiff baiting the couple? This foolish man put himself and his family in that position.

Maybe the thick bloke could be hanged and the bailiffs tortured. You could set alight to all the dozy wife's dressing gowns and take back the 8 year old's toys. That'd teach the fucking lot of them and you'd feel less bitter about your own issues. It was all made up anyway is my bet. I had my house on one of those DIY programmes and it showed my mate and Gráinne from behind the bar at The Falcon arguing over the colour scheme in my kitchen. The fuckin cheapskates destroyed my own hand built kitchen units and replaced them with a load of ol arty toilet. My own son told me that I thought I was very smart getting my house done up for free and getting paid a minimal fee also but really I was a bit tapped in the noggin cos it was mingin. 'It's not orange and it's not red it's just mingin'. They reckoned they would use that for a laugh or pass it over to 'The things children say lol' which was a fantastic new idea the producers of the tv channel had for a seriously funny tv show. They thought Shaky and Gráinne were a bit over enthusiastic about the results but they could edit that to make it look more believable. Shaky reckoned it was 'fackin well smart' and got his mobile out to ring me there and then. I could tell by the way he was trying to sound less working class that the cameras were on him as he spoke. 'Yes it's well smart Roy you'll be well made up .. well I reckon you will anyway' They never used that bit because you could hear me hollerin at him to get off the fucking phone .. it was his and Gráinne's house .. just hold her hand for the cameras and don't send her any text messages about her arse just cos she held his hand back. She was doing it as a favour no more no less what was he after eh? I don't know and I don't care basically but I never ever believe anything I see on television especially if it's on channel 4. They're the worst liars of em all .. them and the BBC, fucking all of em aren't worth a fuckin bollocks at the end of the day. The bailiff was shaggin one of the crew I reckon. Roger Cook shagged hundreds of villains missus' for example. Same as Jerry Springer .. he was in the massage parlour in Montague Road last week with my mate Michael from Romania and he and Gerry had massages with a bevvy of Polish stunnahs laughing and joking for hours playing games and waving their passports in the air so that the girls might 'take it all and not just some of it this time'. It costs the same no matter so just fucking take it all? Springer just wanted to ram his cock straight up some Polish pussy according to Michael.
If the BBC went in there with a camera they'd never show that. If you sent them a video of you doing one of the royal family do you think they'd show it or would you end up in a forest near an American army base? I never done any royalty personally and I know of no one who did but even so you got to watch yer step with the BBC cos they're all wronguns.

Don't be harsh on the poor man. It's his sort of brave spending that's keeping the economy healthy. Give the man a medal for making brown's figures add up!

I'm sure that TV show was designed to give you an accurate insightinto these two people's lives, I'm sure there was no ulterior motive in the way the program was filmed or edited. I'm sure it's perfectly safe for you to draw such damning conclusions from half an hour of footage.

See the show did you?

No, but I've seen enough telly to know that it isn't the same thing as real life, hugh laurie ain't really american you know...

The point I am making is you are running off at the mouth when you did not see the show. You are also deliberately misrepresenting what Ive said.

I have not said it is a good show- Ive said it was poor.

Ive said it doesnt inform people of their legal rights as regards court action and dealing with creditors. It doesnt clearly signpost alternative sources of help.

Ive said the show mostly serves to scare people into playing ball.

Ive said the show doesnt deal with the (im)morality of the creditors for lending cash to people who cant afford it in the first place.

Ive said that one couple's attitude in one particular episode of a show -WHICH YOU DID NOT SEE- was less than it should have been.

Ive said the bailiff was arrogant, cocky and cunty...
