i'm in the oil industry.

100% they will invade iran in say 2012 ish, when the next repub admin are in.

they might bomb it now and start economic warfare on it first though. i'd guess that would be the aim. worked 100% in iraq so why not do it again.

I find something like that fairly plausible. Although it also seems possible that they intend to or already are funding Contra-type terrorist groups in Iran (MEK is the obvious candidate) and are seeking an excuse to smash up the bits of Iran's military (e.g. their air force and the Pasdaran) which could make life difficult for their private armies and special ops types.
