BBC: "radical website Urban75"

I call the "Sun" - "Gun" [if I'm in a bad mood, for their political gun-slinging "strategy and tactics"] and "Fun" [if I'm in a good or cynical mood; as one can't possibly take them seriously and most of their readership know it, which is why they are buying them; or for their "received wisdom", "common sense", non-critical approach to things, based in right wing, conservative shite cadre they laughingly call "brains behind their editorials" etc. - lazy shits, that they are!!!],

"Daily Crap" ["Daily Hate" is brill!],

"Bleurgh of the World" ["Blur..." would be boring and not convey the disgust...],

"Shitting Standard",

"$ly", as someone aptly renamed Mierdoch's little empire...

Etc.

Tbf gabi, it had long stopped being particularly radical by 2005.

I always thought that 'radical' was just another Yank word for something that is 'awesome'. :D

In a close-run contest in which every vote will count, the prize might just go to the candidate who makes the best use of it.

I wonder how Boris would fare if he came on here drumming up support...

Id say the site is radical FWIW

The times we live in most certainly aint though :(

On another board theres a thread comparing this decade to th 1950s for conservatism. That seems pretty accurate.

Here's how the Register are describing us today:

I read some of Paddick's book today. We're in it, big time!

:)

Oh will you stop massaging your ego....:p

By comparison this is a radical website,if you spend most of your web time on here it's easy to forget how reactionary a lot of other boards are.The best example's probably the delightful Facebook group with the name something along the lines of 'if you don't like this country then fuck off back where you came from'. 'Alternative' would probably be a more accurate description than 'radical', or maybe i'm just getting old and spending too much time in suburban75 and not enough time here...
