BBC Question Time tonight (May 14th)

Mings gone and fucked it now!!! ha ha

Yeah. 'Never mind this, what about poor dead soldiers' Boo, shame.

Beckett was slippery and superior. Who picked her to go on? Terrible PR faux pas.

Who was the big guy hecking her? He seemed confident and well-versed.

That big guy looks like a typical union Rep type:D

Pity nobody asked each one of the 6 what they earn.....The McDonalds MD was very good at moralising about MPs, pity there werent any questions about McDonalds dodgy practices or the BBCs or the Telegraphs......I think that some MPs hopefully will be forced to resign but that doesnt mean that people in the media are not being supreme hypocrites at the moment.

I don't think I've ever seen such a febrile QT. The politicians got an incredibly rough ride.

Indeed, i think something is stirring in Blighty, i'm not sure it is all positive: it was obvious there were no BNP allowed in the audience, which gave a false imprsssion of their support, see Soams BNP Barnsley thread for a reality check, a Sun poll is also showing UKIP on 19%

Button told me earlier that he was watching some UKIP thing this evening where they all of a sudden started saying that immigrants were the cause of increased traffic jams

Wtf :D

Finally something on which I can agree with you.

Margaret Beckett had a go when she accused the Telegraph of receiving stolen goods.

It all stinks!!! Hypocrisy reigns......you only have to look at dimbleby's puffy red whiskey face to see lol

And anyone who would even think to vote BNP or UKIP need shooting along with the greedy MP's!!!

Appparently Tory M.P's Julie Kirkbride’s home was attacked and damaged tonight as police guards were posted on other MPs offices and homes to prevent them being attacked.

No need for that shit- i reckon we should all get a tax cut to make up for their shenanigans:cool:

how can the cheif exec (or whatever the fcks his title) of mcdonalds, sit there and give it the moral high ground!!!!

stone them all!
you liberal!

Throw live electric hungry sharks at them!

How the wind changes; a few months ago Ming would have been seen in a very favourable light by the audience.

Surprisingly enough, it was an incredibly xenophobic load of old fear-mongering bullshit. Have you noticed the queues getting longer at bus stops?

Here is the BBCs page detainling their responses to FOI requests abour expenses. You'll notice that the majority of the responses are fobbing offs and outright refusal to answer. The one about the DG general expenses is a link to page that doesn't even exist - the rest are mostly the excuse that it would take more than 2 1/2 days to find out, which means they have no obligation to do respond.

All this is on top of the priveliged exlusions from the FOIA that the BBC alreay has - it doesn't have to answer any question about expenses to do with 'creating output' or relating to 'talent'. That does mean thing like Yentob spending 1 and half grand on a lunch for the executives is released though (17 grand in total over three years on parties and meals).

Shall we a look at some other public institutions? What other likely ones are there?
