BBC: Appiritions -Devils n Stuff

I missed the first few episodes because it clashed with Bones, but I caught up on Iplayer and have been gripped since. i can't decide whether it's really dodgy or not, but it's starting to get really good and it's not like anything else on TV at the moment.

Think I saw my first (half) episode the other night, made fuck all sense to me but was excellent in its own way, so many competely nonsensical elements brought together to make some vague kind of random sense. Good stuff, shall be hitting iPlayer up for more.

I didn't, I though the the last twenty minutes especially were mesmerising and quite frightening, with the hot 'succubus' going up in flames in the cathedral....

I've just pulled up the BBC iPlayer page and seen that the whole series is available and was just about to go and make myself a cup of tea and settle down to watch it.

*shakes fist at treelover*

i only saw the last twenty minutes os was a bit confused. but it was good

I thought the end was disappointing :(

Left it open for another series though, with perhaps the Yugoslavian cardinal becoming pope, and as he may just be a Satanist, the anti-Christ too.

Shame that Cherie Lunghi got toasted, though. She's well a MILF!!

I heard viewing figures weren't great, so it remains to be seen if there'll be another series. I really liked the last episode, especially the bit with Vicenzo(?) and Jacob in the hotel (sounds a bit dodgy when I put it like that).

I thought the series was a refreshing change from the usual BBC drama series - quite a bit more gore and horror than Auntie usually puts out. And it was fun spotting the bits of Liverpool they'd used for the locations :)
