Quite a lot of things are in fact shit. I don't hate everything but shit things that I was hoping would not be shit make my fingers go to work.
97% of TV is shit. I have posted quite a lot about things that I like.

yeah, I watch tele sci fi expecting shite tbh. Then the good bits are a pleasant suprise. This spurred me through the whole of Andromeda.

Far more wounding is when a writer of book sci fi I respect churns out something with an ending that

Look at Lexx. Eye bubblegum innit. I know BSG raised the bar and you expect more etc, but I didn't. It's TV sci fi, US at that. That's in it for the journey stuff not expecting Wire-crafted genius.

For my mind Stargate SG1 ended the best of most recent US sci fi.

Andromeda was shite, Tier Anasazi was a legend and shouldn't have gone bad.

What happens at the end of stargate?

I still really like Lexx despite it's cheap shitness. In fact I think it adds to it. Third season was painful but I almost enjoyed the weekly pain (I had the scifi channel at the time, I was a single man with cable, a lazy attitude and waaaay too much drink). I have all the VHS which one day I will watch.

I don't think it's eye candy though.

One high point is in season two where a doctor uses a nintendo 64 controller as a space gun. Worst props dept ever.

Everyone I've been following this with over the last few years liked it. And our opinions have been very similar as the season's have unfolded so I'm not really expecting to be disappointed.
