Baseball caps

Why not wear a Fez, a Beret or a traditional Peruvian llama hat - they have as much to do with the UK as baseball caps, e.g. f--- all.

Do any of those have a peak that keeps the sun out of your eyes?

How about a flat cap with a peak? I've got a couple of those which I wear on occasion (although there is a danger of looking like the abominable Guy Ritchie)

Cut the peak off then sew it on the back of the cap if you want the reverse-peak look. Used to be quite 'the rage'.

I bought ten, one in every colour, for 50p each in a Uniqlo closing down sale. I always keep one in my bag because they keep the sun out of my eyes during the summer and the rain off my glasses when it's pissing down. Good unbranded functional headwear in an assortment of plain colours. It's a shame they've been appropriated by an antisocial element.
