This cunt needs to be banged up, heavily fined and banned for life from playing football. I don't normally have such an attitude but he really is an arsehole and doesn't deserve to be playing for any club, especially when there's people who are probably just as good as him but just don't have the opportunity.

No chance - restraint of trade laws and all that.
The guy will be dealt with by the courts and is then free to resume his previous trade (or any other he can obtain employment at). A few doors will be closed to him - he wouldn't be able to be a security guard or a police officer but it won't stop him beinmg a professional footballer.

They should but I don't think they will. Look what happened at Chelsea when they sacked Mutu: He was instantly a free agent Fiorentina signed him up and Chelsea lost all the cash they had paid for him.
The same will happen with Barton if they sack him, so I reckon they'll let it calm down and then sell him on, probably to a desperate Chapionship side for a Million or something.
