I thought the lack of positional switching from Barcelona was remarkable.

Messi and Henry never once switched from what I could see.

The only players who seemed to have the true freedom of the park were Xavi and Iniesta who were both marked out of most of it by Ballack and Mikel.

Barca seem to have a phobia of width, everything they tried was through the middle, reminded me of Arsenal at their walk it into the net worst, they were the same against United in the CL last year. All very wellhaving everyone wank over your amazing attacking play and the midfield artisans Xaxi and Iniesta but it's all for fuck all if a team can just tuck in and hold you off. Being held to 0-0 at home to a disciplined Chelsea side with a mission to defend is no shame, the inability to shake up your attacking style to create some chances is however rather damning.
