The one at the top that looks like one of those horror squish toys that gore-obsessed 11 year old boys favour....could be a winner at a boys birthday party......what are the little round white bits?

Millions. We dyed them (for a smaller salmon roe cake) and it was a great success, but then we decided to put them in jelly and it sucked out all the dye. IDK, by that point we were both a bit mental and delirious.

Shameless bump because I don't think I was around when I made my bezza this Nandos cake

It's ALL cake, apart from the bottle which is full of caramel sauce.

It was in The Sun

huhh??? that all can't be cake!! that is mental.

:)

We played rounders and some little kids joined in, their reaction was exactly the same. I used a ponud cake recipe that's quite dense and easy to carve, so the inside vaguely resembled chicken too.

 that is ace Pip... have you got photos of your other cakes please? :)

Most of them are just classy fruit and chocolate shit because they only take about two seconds to decorate, let me find the original sushi cake that started this thread though.

I missed this the first time round. I want to see the Sushi Cakes, but the pictures have gone. Have you still got them up anywhere?

Also, what happened to Detroit City? I miss ripping the piss out of his fucking weird food.

a friend of mine is going in to cake making seriously... she made a cake for the legendary doom metal band Cathedral's 20th anniversary party.

Mate, you could sell those! Then there'd be a birthday every bloody day!

I half thought about it, but I'd need insurance, a proper premises, couldn't do it from my flat etc., luckily I'm able to express my creativity  in a fairly fun and lucrative way anyway, so doing it for the glory is fine by me.

The ikura next to it is a wind up but lifesize toy.

Aye, it would need a bit of setting up, but sounds like you like doing it for fun and for your mates

I'm intrigued as to your lucrative creativity now, nosy bitch that I am :D

I remember the sushi cake now

Btw bumped this because I had a dream I made a cake that looked like a dog's snarling jaws covered in pearls and surrounded by mirrors, just working out which of my mates I can palm that off on :D
