i guess because it's kinda pointless to bin the thread now, there would inevitably have been a Bangface thread anyway, and after half a page arguing about it's spamminess, the rest is what would have gone on across any normal Bangface thread

There's nothing inherently moronic about breakcore.
Having a pop at this particular line-up for being moronic isn't really fair IMO.
Venetian Snares' Rossz Csillag Allatt Szullettet is pretty-much a masterpiece of composition, but it's breakcore.
Aaron Spectre is far from moronic, his live Drumcorps performance is like Squarepusher with balls.
PCM isn't mindless noise by any stretch, nor is Hellfish
A Guy Called Gerald is plenty acid bleepy non-moronic

of the nights Orang has recommended to me, I've been to two. One was bangface in the old venue. Which was awesome.
The other was at the George IV and was hideous - awful soulless joyless beeping, no atmosphere and no fun.
