"Bang Face may know their history, but this is a forward-looking rave party." as their promo says.
Monster Zoku Onsomb! absolutely rock, really looking forward to seeing them and picking up a copy of their new album :D

Yeah, might just do that.

edit- actually, that's a bit a steep for a fiver.
there is 4 other great bands on too, taht's a £1 a band. and if it is any we won't get any of the money anyway.

I start a new job tomorrow at 9.30am... Still, it's good to keep their expectations low...

I decided last minute I wanted to go tonight, phoned up Rough Trade was told there were no more tickets left, phoned Phonica was told they still had eleven tickets, however by the time I got there they had all gone.:( In the shop they advised me to turn up early at the door tonight if I still wanted a ticket, so I'm going to leave it for this month and just stay in the Redstar all night:D

Yeah i'm not sure what i'm gonna do now since i'm gonna attempt to not spend too much money :(

Might just go to the redstar...

EDIT: Didn't make it out at all in the end due to cash and energy, how was it?

What a great night! Monster Zoku Onsomb were wild, brilliant and very funny; Luke Vibert was outstanding, laying down the most slamming old rave toons; Krome & Time were a little flat after that but still managed a fairly engaging journey from hardcore rave into drum and bass; then Remarc rinsed out the amens... after that I wasn't sure who anyone was... but they were good...

Strange that it was sold out as it seemed much less busy than last month. Also, I thought the sound-system seemed a lot quieter. But it was still fun.

Getting up for my first day at work after two hours sleep, on the other hand, was not so much fun... I think it went OK, although I fear they may have found me excessively enthusiastic... Lets see how long that lasts...

Well it was good while I was there - and Monster Zoku Onsomb! absolutely rocked :D

To be fair i really wanted to go see them and that was one of my main motivations, but alas i decided to have a 'quiet night'. Fucking glad i did since last night and today couldn't have been done otherwise.

Not the end of the world, especially since next months lineup is the best i've ever seen at Bangface:

Venetian Snares
Ellis Dee
A Guy Called Gerald
Hellfish
AARON SPECTRE (aka. THE DADDY OF ALL THINGS BREAKCORE ;) )
PCM
Shinra
St Acid

Fucking bring it on

got there late after that wonktronica party (what a chin stroker that was..)

Panacea was sick.. rinsed out some top tunes, that limewax he played... ouch.
Remarc, average set by his standards i thought.
Doormouse was pretty tame by his standards n all..
