Yuss, tickets bought, looks like I'm off to my first BANGFACE...

Perhaps that'll make up for missing EVERY festival I wanted to go to this summer so far... (Still hoping to make it to Secret Garden though.)

Shite, wasn't planning on making it back to london before the august bank holiday weekend...

...Think i'll have to give this a miss :(

(To be fair i'd only be really excited seeing DDD again, have seen most of the others half a dozen times before)

Anyway, seeing as I am now employed ( ) I don't know if I can go this but I'd like to.

I'm definitely going. Dragging a small crew from Cambridge celebrating a birthday and soem Londonites too.
It's going to be hilarious!
Roll on Friday and jumping :D

Gotta ask - is this some sort of krazy-zany-kool parody of a rave...?

*Wonders if might be better going to Underground Resistance after all...*

I was thinking that UR might be a bit.. coffee table... full of shaven-headed 30-something men... I'm a huge fan of Mike Banks and I love the whole UR 'concept' (been a fan for 14 years...), but I thought this sounded a little austere, with a VERY SERIOUS film on before the raving begins...

But now I'm thinking that Bangface is on every month and UR are only in town every couple of years...

Hmmm.

Uh, no.
I abuse the word hilarious, to me it means anything that is so much fun it will make you smile and maybe even laugh with pleasure.
I wouldn't say that being at Bangface is akin to going to a comedy performance, no. Unless you find happy, dancing people funny ha-ha funny...

It's not a parody but it's the friendliest club night that I know in London and it's pure fun. Check the vidoes on their website to see whether it looks like your kind of thing is the best advice I can give!

It's not a proper rave though, 'cos it's not in a field and there's no fires and it doesn't smell of generators :p

right its derv's birthday on friday and he's got a ticket to bangface.

i'm not going so make sure you break him in style please :D (and i want photos).

wiskers

gutted i would have liked to have gone to this its been a while but we are going to somerset house to see films instead.

Hope Derv makes it back with his eyeballs in the correct sockets:D :D
