Trying to persuade tommers to go to this as it's his bday weekend. How easy is it to get tickets on the night? Does it mean massive queues?

I've always found that there's room to dance around the back, although it gets very crushed in front of the decks.

Plus it clears out a bit later on, just when you'd be just warming up.

What's bangface like? The pictures always look like it's too crowded to dance...

It's usually alright- can get a bit moshy during the gabberier sets, but only in a fairly-well confined locus around the front. It can get a bit packed but you can usually make some space for yourself if you go it alone. Which isn't so bad as it's a friendly crowd. Now that they have a second room open there is always somewhere to dance, and as mentioned, it does thin out a bit quite early on (well, from 3ish).
