Fraid not mate, I'm out in Manc this weekend and it looks like I'm going to a dubstep night in Leeds that night instead - bit closer to where I am at the monent and definitely less messy . . . hope you have a wicked one tho, be interested to hear what you make of it :)
 
Argh, didn't manage to get round to buying tickets over the weekend and all online ones have gone, anyone know if any of the record shops selling them have any left, or am i going to have to get there RIDICULOUSLY early?
 
That would be great actually since i'm back in wales, i'd actually be after 3 if you can stretch to it (the other 2 are possibles, which can always be sold on as face value if they don't come) :cool:

Have't given Rough Trade a call yet and i can't remember who else sells them!

Nah, DMZ is on the week after when I'm singing in a competition in Huddersfield, otherwise I'd probably be there. The one I'm going to has got Plastician playing with a couple of decent MCs, and the almighty Oris Jay back to back with some bloke out of Groove Chronicles.

Well according to the site there's 150+ tickets reserved for the door, so how early do you reckon i'd have to get there to get in?
 
Will get there extra early just incase then, guess i could spend an hour standing outside the electrowerkz drinking stella and acting like a tit :D
 
Might even go down a bit earlier than that and plot in the nearest pub and send someone to poke their head down the road every so often if needs be to make sure we don't miss the door tickets :D
 
Blue Angel is pretty grim - it was great back in the day when it was where they held 100% Dynamite. Last time I went we met in a pub in the backstreets between City Road and Angel that maestrocloud found, but that doesn't really help your queue-tactics.

Another decent pub is the Agricultural - out of the tube, turn right and cross the main road at the crossing, go straight into Liverpool Road and it's a pub on the corner of Chapel St

That was quite a decent pub but the traditional pre-electrowerks/slimelight pub for time out of mind has been the Duke of York which I think is the nearest decent pub.
