Oh yeah... I actually wouldn't go - I hate the place. But I do like Andy C... he smacked it at Glastonbury last year. He's not worth security guards and other 'club' type bollocks though.. not sure anyone is.

I've never had any problems with the bouncers at Electrowerkz, I always find them to be as friendly as bouncers get, they never frisk me, threaten me or give me much attitude
The sound system is shite though, which is a real shame.

is it still shit? not been for a while this is OK for the dreary slimelight stuff but criminal for a lineup like that, loved to hear Xanopticon/Sugeon live. Seen Shackleton twice, it's dreary coffeestep folks.

Yeah, it's still crap. It's better, but still not good.

Shackleton- over a good rig I reckon it'd be interesting, I thought the Soundboy Punishments album was good although he does overuse the "ethnic" samples imo (and you can't fault the Villalobos remix of Blood on my Hands). But yeah I don't reckon it's really going to hit the spot on the night. We'll see (well, I'll probably see about 5 minutes and go "bah, this is too slow" and go to see what else is going on!)

Yeah was just the closest place to go that was open late. I've been a couple of times in the past and it can be ok (though you're right about the snobby crowd). I thought it funny that they were using a line you'd expect to hear in a suburbs meat market.

Lord I over did it with whistles and bells on this weekend. We carried on at my place after the night out and did not stop partying till 2 oclock this morning when we eventualy passed out.
