Bands with two drummers

...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead played with two drummers when I saw them at the ballroom just before leaving the UK.

It was fucking epic.

Not sure if they have two on the studio recordings though.

I was really pissed-off when I saw the go-team with two not-outta-this world amazing drummers playing EXACTLY the same beat and fills which gave a slight phasing effect. Do something that accentuates the beat or makes something more interesting like the Buttholes did at one time

Saw the Foo Fighters at Brixton years ago and they had two drum kits on stage - at some point duting the show Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins went head to head to play the b-side track 'the colour and the shape'. T'was rather good too.

The Strange Death Of Liberal England
they've had two drummers, but not playing at the same time i don't think.

there have been a few bands who have had two drummers to allow drum 'battles' a la foo's mentioned above, but i dont think that counts really.

Ones that definitely do count:

Lightning Bolt
Hawkwind (around 75/6 - Alan Powell & the mighty Simon King)

hmm...thinks...I've deffo seen them with two people playing the same drum kit.......which doesnt really count.....& I was sure I'd seen them with two drummers, but you've got me worried now....

anyone mentioned the Melvins? They've had two from time to time

Guillemots had two on Jonathan Ross the other day, only one proper one though. Unfortunately the song was still pretty crap.
