We played there twice as headliners. was it the gig at the end of the tour with ikara colt/80s b-line matchbox disaster? or perhaps new years eve 2001? As i recall, the reason Afonso ended up near the back is that he was propelled there by Topcat

ahaha...i'd forgotten about their 'mobile' - and about that total & utter CUNT they had as a manager/road manager who used to dress like a cowboy and wouldn't let anyone into it.

Even if your very cool, knowing when to give up if they are well constructed is also worth taking into consideration. Queens of the stone age bassist took far too long to break his bass, people had stopped cheering their last song there was this long awkward silence.
I think I saw Chico play naked one time then. Or maybe it was just one of them. Was it you guys who played Colchester Arts Centre, and walked out the side door still playing, much to the annoyance of security?
