Having thought about this a bit more I don't think that Oasis really counts as a place Oasis is not a town, country or village after all.

There are actually three places in the States called Oasis.
Oasis in Iowa has a population of 20 a functioning grain elevator, a cemetary and a sign that "tragically disappeared one night"
Oasis in Utah is described as a "small town" and Oasis Wisconsin has a population of 405.
