Ballet Heels

i've got a pair JUST like those...

here they are.. and I can actually walk in them (for shortish periods) - actually I might wear them this weekend.

all those Mary Jane's would be much nicer with the pointer heel.

I don't like the spiky heels so much - wouldn't be able to walk in them at all.

Whereas I couldn't walk in the wedge ones you have posted. I think revol68 has pretty good taste in shoes imo. I don't like red but those black with little red bits ones are nice.

you've GOT to be kidding, if my girlfriend wore those i'd be laughing so hard i wouldn't get sex for a week...

they look like the shoes that Smurfette wore except they're black

Ooh, these shoes are ace too:

Disliking something because of it's extreme conclusion is a bit odd isn't it? Surely you'd end up disliking everything, seeing as everything has an extreme conclusion.

Anyway, these shoes are foul. In fact, I'm a bit worried as I seem to agree with Butterfly Child.

Onky 1 - Butters 1

This could turn into a habit :hmm:

as much as i love high heeled shoes and boots, i find most made-for-teh-bedroom/fetishwear type ones to be really grim - totally cheap and nasty with seemingly very little thought put into to actually making them asthetically pleasing. it's just like they bung a load of ideas together (PVC, straps, buckles etc) and hope for the best. most of the ones posted on this thread do nothing for me.

bloody hell, there's some ugly shoes on this thread :D look up the word obvious in a dictionary, and i'm sure they'd all be pictured there...

as for the ballet heels, dont do anything for me, bar pity the woman wearing them. but each to their own.

no, what makes you think i am sad? :hmm:

i reckon most of them would go great with a zimmer, it would help keep the wearer upright!

true.

In fact the ones I like best on this thread are the pony boots (not just cos they're pony shoes :D) because they have a complete aesthetic going on. They look like they've been thought about a bit and made in proportion.

Revol - the stuff you're posting up is as bad as Detroit City's suggestion :D

*gallops away*

I never espected so many replies!

talking of soo wrong they're right.

ergghh yuk! :D

You HAVE to make sure ballet heels are the correct size. If they are, it is possible to teeter a few steps, and if they aren't its even impossible to bloody well stand up in them.

I have to admit to rather liking them... especially if they've got cute li'l padlocks on an ankle strap,

Won't they be the same as my normal size? Maybe I should go to a shop to try them on then......was gonna buy online. (The ones with padlocks are the ones I was gonna get)

You know what, these make it clear for me exactly why I dislike high heels. Because they take it to its extreme conclusion - you can't do anything at all in ballet heels, and there is a touch of that in all high heels, for me - a fetishisation of disabling women, like footbinding. I don't find it sexy, I find it disturbing. Call me an 80s feminist throwback.

:D Different strokes. I found high heels really fuckin empowering, they seem to improve my posture and make me 'walk tall' also being as tall as my boyfriend rather than having to tiptoe to give him a kiss is always good!

These are impressive in the manner of a sexy italian sports car.:o

Yer I like them a lot.

The thing is, high heels are meant to be an every day fashion choice (yeah right) - ballet shoes are about sex. It's not really comparable.

Yeh I don't think I'd be nipping down to tesco in them or anything....

Oi! I've got those shoes!

I have a fine collection of what can politely be described as hooker shoes .... which I usually buy from here http://www.xtremefootwear.co.uk/

They're nice shoes! I'm a bit scared to click that link lol

Derfinitley you have to be really careful, shoes are like a work of art innit.

Mmmmmmmmm

to be honest, I think they are ace! They are after all not intended for walking in, being uncomfortable and restricting is the point. Some people quite like (indeed love) being objectified and restricted (by a consensual partner), it's not always chauvanistic oppression.

I know I do ;)

:) Eww - I really dont like them ballets shoes - they look abit spasticated* imho .

*hopes spasticated isnt an illegal word,,
