Again, ugly shoes revol.

I don't like the spiky heels so much - wouldn't be able to walk in them at all.

yeah to be honest they aren't for out and about.![]()

I have a fine collection of what can politely be described as hooker shoes.... which I usually buy from here http://www.xtremefootwear.co.uk/

Disliking something because of it's extreme conclusion is a bit odd isn't it? Surely you'd end up disliking everything, seeing as everything has an extreme conclusion.
Anyway, these shoes are foul. In fact, I'm a bit worried as I seem to agree with Butterfly Child.![]()

as much as i love high heeled shoes and boots, i find most made-for-teh-bedroom/fetishwear type ones to be really grim - totally cheap and nasty with seemingly very little thought put into to actually making them asthetically pleasing. it's just like they bung a load of ideas together (PVC, straps, buckles etc) and hope for the best. most of the ones posted on this thread do nothing for me.
) because they have a complete aesthetic going on. They look like they've been thought about a bit and made in proportion.
talking of soo wrong they're right.

You HAVE to make sure ballet heels are the correct size. If they are, it is possible to teeter a few steps, and if they aren't its even impossible to bloody well stand up in them.
I have to admit to rather liking them... especially if they've got cute li'l padlocks on an ankle strap,
You know what, these make it clear for me exactly why I dislike high heels. Because they take it to its extreme conclusion - you can't do anything at all in ballet heels, and there is a touch of that in all high heels, for me - a fetishisation of disabling women, like footbinding. I don't find it sexy, I find it disturbing. Call me an 80s feminist throwback.
Different strokes. I found high heels really fuckin empowering, they seem to improve my posture and make me 'walk tall' also being as tall as my boyfriend rather than having to tiptoe to give him a kiss is always good! ![]()
These are impressive in the manner of a sexy italian sports car.![]()
The thing is, high heels are meant to be an every day fashion choice (yeah right) - ballet shoes are about sex. It's not really comparable.

i think this thread has been the most filtered ever by my workplace. I never knew my employers were so coy!![]()

Mmmmmmmmm
to be honest, I think they are ace! They are after all not intended for walking in, being uncomfortable and restricting is the point. Some people quite like (indeed love) being objectified and restricted (by a consensual partner), it's not always chauvanistic oppression.
I know I do![]()
